NOTA:
Students with the following conditions have privileges regarding their enrollment:

  • Having received a place at UPS directly from SENESCYT.
  • Having taken the ENES and obtained over 800 points.
  • Having a high school diploma from schools that UPS has an academic agreement with.

 

 

STATE SCHOLARSHIPS ARE GRANTED BY SENESCYT THROUGH

 SNNA GINVING STUDENTS A PLACE AT UPS


The current document No. SENESCYT-SGES-2012-0025-CI states that 25% of the amount received for the co-financed university is directed to first year student scholarships. From that 25%, 50% must be given to 100% scholarships; 30% to 60% scholarships; 10% givent to 40%scholarships; and 10% of the scholarship amount should be cover 25% of the total costs. The scholarships is given by SENESCYT,and executed by UPS.

In case that were given to SNNA by UPS,  are not utilized, the University will use them for special scholarships and to grant educational credit with social responsibility according to the LOES (organic law for higher education). In order to be elegible for these scholarships granted by the state, the applicant must have taken the ENES. For special scholarships we prioritize inclusive policies and the significance of the majors: Intercultural Bilingual Education, Management for local sustainable developmen, Pedagogy and Engineering.
